Good Egg Child Safety Campaign Comes to Croydon

A new road safety initiative was launched by the Croydon Council this week. Its main purpose is raise awareness among parents, grandparents, carers, or anyone driving with a child in their cars, about the dangers to young children from incorrectly fitted or inappropriate child car seats.

The award-winning ‘Good Egg In-Car Child Safety Campaign’ was adopted by the Council, in order to tackle this vital road safety issue. The Campaign has a proven record of success in significantly reducing casualty rates among child passengers across the UK, and will undoubtedly benefit every member of the society, the cleaners in Croydon said.

In five consecutive days, from June 6th to June 10th, at IKEA, Valley Retail Park, CR0 4UZ, Croydon Council will be holding four car seat “clinics”. There, between 10am and 3pm, parents can have their child car seats checked for safety by experts and receive advice on in-car child safety from the Good Egg team.
